Who came up with the rule that women need to shave their legs?
No, I’m not some hippie that has hair under my arms long enough to braid, I’m just annoyed.
I’m annoyed with the whole leg shaving process.
You get in a nice hot shower, loofa, slather on the shaving cream, and shave one column at a time, rinse and repeat.
Stupid.
I hoped your brushed your teeth before you started shaving, cause it ‘s gonna give you the goose bumps and you will have to start allll over.
You do brush your teeth in the shower, right?
We totally do.
Anyway, so then you get of the the shower and a cool breeze hits you, you get goose bumps and viola….5 o’clock leg shadow.
Stupid.
Oh, and don’t get me started on the price of razors.
I totally got the shivers when my son tasted these Chicken Burgers and said,
“Wow Mom, these are good.”
5 o’clock leg shadow…..
I about had a heart attack, I was all prepared to hear the normal whine about something new on the plate.
I will be making these everyday for dinner until he moves out in 10 years.

Prior to grilling, they are a very wet burger
Do NOT flip the burgers more than once on the grill, they need time to form a nice crust on the outside so they stay together.

These burgers are very wet when you are forming them.
They will want to stick to your hands, so form them gently, handling them as little as possible.
You can also prepare these in a grill pan, panini press or a regular fry pan.
Always use a little bit of oil on your cooking surface so the burgers do not stick.
I love chicken burgers! I am totally going to try this.. and then slather it in cheese as to counter all the healthiness of the chicken.
I would much rather have these than beef burgers anyday! oh and I totally agree with the shaving this. I could punch whoever thought that was a good idea! I hate 5 o’clock leg shadow, exp when it’s within a few minutes of getting out of the shower thanks to goosebumps!
I love all your yummy additions to make this a nice juicy burger! 🙂
I’ve never had a chicken burger but these look really moist and delicious. I bet these would be great as sliders for a Christmas BBQ. (it’s summer down here in Australia)
Could these be done in the oven?? I don’t have a grill 🙁
Suzy-Q,
Yes, I I have it in the notes of the recipe that you can make these on a panini press, grill pan or a regular fry pan.
Just make sure that you use a little bit of oil in the pan so the burgers do not stick.
In a skillet, I would cook them over medium heat for about 8 or so minutes per side(only flipping ONCE), just make sure there is NO PINK in the middle.
Thank you! I’ll be giving them a try!
Yummy! These are making my mouth water! Chicken burgers are one of our favorites! I do several different versions and sometimes use ground chicken sausage when I can’t find plain ground chicken. I’ll have to give these a try on our next burger night!
I have never had a chicken burger! Definitely going to try this!
I had my first chicken burger this summer and fell in absolute love. I posted a recipe of a Buffalo Chicken Burger on my site that was so tasty, but I am excited to try this more classic take as well! Thanks for the recipe!
Looks amazing!!! We have been wanting to try chicken burgers…yours looks awesome! 🙂
OMG you put yogurt into the burgers?! That’s crazy talk. But I like it 😉
Ohhh yes. It adds moisture to the burgers and tastes AMAZING!!!
