Coffee…
I find it only fitting I talk about coffee since it is “National Coffee Break Day”
Ummmm, hello. No surprise there. I am a coffee fanatic.
I don’t function without it. I have 1-2 mugs of coffee (1/1 2 Splendas and fat free half and half) in the morning and them I am good to go.
You will often see me praying to the coffee Gods.
And then after I pray….I drink!
and drink….
Annnnndddddd drink…..
I used to go to Starbucks all the time to get a Non-Fat Caramel Macchiato, but lets face it they still have a bunch of calories and they are expensive.
I was never a fan of Starbucks regular coffee. I always thought it was too bitter and a bit to strong for my taste. Well turns out I was not alone in my feeling about their coffee.
Guess what? They now have a “less strong” coffee.
Starbucks “Blond Roast”.
I love love love it.
Not bitter and not strong at all. Much more mellow. I found it in K-Cups, so that makes me do the happy dance.
So if you love coffee, but are a bit of a sissy coffee drinker like me and have not been a fan of Starbucks regular coffee, The “Blond Roast” is for you.

I have seen the blond roast but haven’t gotten it yet..I feel the same way about their regular coffee.
AND if you remember from our coffee lesson at Folgers, the lighter roasts have more caffeine! Win-win!
I will be on the lookout for the Veranda Blend K Cups. Right now I am enjoying the Kahlua ones. They are so good. I love the photos Leslie.

DOH – I just picked up a blond – ROAST – that is, yesterday. In fact, I was ordering a cup and decided to get a pound of it, so my cup was FREE. Loves me a lil blond roast. I’m enjoying some now, in fact!!

I feel the same way about the regular coffee, but I am addicted to most of the other specialty drinks. Meant to stop by during their “free trial” but never made it. Good to hear you love it, because I have the same taste for coffees, love the milder blends! Going to try it next time I go…probably tomorrow 🙂

I LOVE a good cup of coffee! And I recently got a Keurig- love those k-cups. Haven’t had the Starbucks ones yet! ps. how cute are you in those pics?!! 🙂
