I mean seriously, who doesn’t love Hello Kitty? What’s not to love?
She makes a pretty cute birthday cake too.
I was asked to make a “Sparkly Pirate Hello Kitty” Birthday cake…and so I did.
I made her out of a 50/50 mix of fondant and gum paste to give some strength. I used black and pink disco dust on the bow and letters. I threw on some silver dragees on the patch strap for some bling. Little bones are in the middle of the patch for more “pirate effect”

Leslie you just put the biggest smile on my 23 year old daughter’s face. My daughter collects everything Hello Kitty, Jewerly, Handbags, Stuffed HK, Sewing Machine just to name a few of the 1,000’s of HK she has. My daughter also has a Hello Kitty tattooed below her neck and my husband has Hello Kitty tattooed on his arm with our daughters name and birthdate.
